Alright great.
Just needed someone to tell me I did this right as the guy was holding AA. I would rather put him on the 8s but I really thought he had two pair or something like that. I guess there is not much to do about it - the only hands I was afraid of was AA and 88 and he happened to have one of them.

Minraising AA preflop? Bah.
