Well first part is this. Fold that shit preflop. K8 offsuit is worse than Ace-2

Good raise to try to steal the pot on the flop. Check the turn or bet bigger. The river is an easy fold. I am going to guess he had an ace.

I posted what he had at the bottom, in white. Highlight it to read it. Thanks for the advice, I agree, low kickers seem to be killing me quite a bit.

yep, same problem as in the other hand you posted. Try to have a nice kicker, otherwise be cautious unless you have some great reads.

TPTK is very often the best hand at flop. That´s why you can bet so hard with it, because you probably have the best hand right now and can concentrate on getting the drawers out/getting them to make a bad call. Another advantage is that Mr. TPGK often will call a pot sized bet and then you have him dominated. With TPWK, the situation is totally different. You probably don´t have the best hand and betting pot sized will still make TPGK to call, but probably not second pair and Top pair/weaker kicker. So if someone calls, you´re likely dominated instead of dominating.

What he said. Be more selective about starting hands.

Fold preflop.

On the flop, once he calls the big raise and all you have is TPWK, you gotta slow down. You might be ahead, but you're hand can't stand up to aggression and you don't want to pot commit yourself.
