Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG+1 ($9.40)
MP1 ($22.30)
Hero ($23.55)
CO ($11.10)
Button ($29.15)
SB ($15.68)
BB ($13.25)
UTG ($21.90)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q, Q. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
3 folds, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, Button raises to $1.75, 2 folds, Hero raises to $6, Button calls $4.25.

Flop: ($12.35) 8, J, 3 (2 players)

Hero is all-In [$17.55]
Button folds.

Final Pot: $12.35

Here's my thinking:
I only had 30 hands with him, but he seemed pretty loose.

If I show weakness This pot can be taken from me.

Aces or kings would 4-bet preflop I think (25nl, how tricky can they be?).
Against jacks I've got 11 outs (hearts and Qs)
Against a flush I'm just screwed, but I'm not sure I can manipulate the pot in any way that avoids the bluff and lets me know he has a flush. Besides, there's exactly one hand that makes a flush here given the betting: AhKh.
I don't think 33 or 88 reraises preflop.
AK is toasty here, if he calls with a big heart I'm just better than 50/50 (8 hearts, 3 aces, 3 kings = 14 outs)
other pairs and lower flush draws probably wouldn't pay me off here.

So this is kind of a scared blocking bet. Is there a better way?

Good logic I think. If you bet to make Ah or Kh pay then you are committing yourself anyways I think - I think I like your play.

Looks pretty standard. Due to all the preflop action, you're forced to push any flop that is favorable to you.

He evidently didn't have a (good) pair and didn't have any hearts.
