Based on what you posted, this looks terrible. Am I missing something? Please tell me what you were thinking while playing this hand.

Here is what I would do.

You've given no reads, and nothing else to go on in the hand. Although I don't hate a call preflop, I prefer a raise. You are going to be OOP in the hand and I would like control of the hand immediately. Hopefully you will just win the pot there. I hate playing OOP.

On the flop, lead or c/f without any read. If you raised preflop, you have a better chance taking the pot on the flop with a bet. Calling is terrible.

The turn is... wtf? You raised him which is, blah... it might be ok with a read of some kind, but you have no idea where you are. The call is even worse. You can't bluff by calling.

how much would you suggest that i reraise to

running through my mind was that he had been lagg and was raising with at best a pocket pair i figured my re-raise would represent trips and then calling his push i thought i had at least three outs if i was beat and maybe six

In the showdown he had KQ

I prefer to take that type of line with a small pair or at least a draw against an ultra lagg that I think will laydown to the turn raise. Your line was not good.

That's one of the most terrible hands I've ever seen.

I can't think of a hand you can beat in showdown besides a busted flush draw, and that hand has a freakin' lot of outs to beat ace-high.

I don't think you're even pot commited here, although I don't know what villian's range is. I think at best you have three outs, and you're usually dead.

Note: I read the results, and that's fine and good. My analysis is what I think before the hand is shown down.
