Well this guy was stupid to smooth-call my minraise, but whatever. I laid down my KK to what i thought was either a set or AA. Well guess it was.. it was AA, as the other not so fortunate player found out lol...

Saved myself around 150$ on this one...
See, it can be done!!

Breed should have reraised or pushed pre-flop. I'm surprised you folded when you had overcads with no flush or strait possibilities.

Folding kings on the TURN is not an achievement. I've folded aces on the turn or river before. Folding them pre-flop (and being right to do so) is almost impossible.

Am I reading it wrong, or did the guy call down 23 bucks on the river with 8 high?
Light years ahead of the competition.

Yip, with nothing but a busted draw (I suppose the other guy could have been betting a 47o)

King_cerni's play confuses me. Having position is nice, but not if you don't have the hand for it. He had no business being in that hand in the first place. I guess he deserved his fate.

elipsesjeff is an unknown quantity at this point
I believe that if you had played this hand correctly you would have lost some money.

Everytime you have KK vs. AA you are in for a bruising. It happens, but putting someone on AA when you yourself have TPTK is retarded, especially without any reads or PT numbers. Considering you didnt raise once post flop you had no choice but fold.

Imagine how mad you would be when the guy flips over AQ, because that is played the exact same way.

I agree, i would of bet out on that flop, and if the guy went all - in or something crazy laid them down.

what gave away that he didnt have AQ? He had two callers and he was a tight player... he's not stupid and going to play into a KK or AA or a set if had AQ, and he wouldnt make that massive bet on the turn. Thats why i folded..
