MP2 was very loose both pre (82% VP$IP, 17% raises) and post... I saw him and the other player (UTG) in this pot get into a lot of pissing matches with middle pair, overcards, etc. and using scare cards on the board to their advantage.

UTG ($66.70)
UTG+1 ($45.65)
MP1 ($61.70)
MP2 ($60.90)
Hero ($109.35)
CO ($49.50)
Button ($45.75)
SB ($83.10)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K, A. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, MP2 raises to $1, Hero raises to $3, 4 folds, UTG calls $2.50, MP2 calls $2.

Flop: ($9.75) K, 2, J (3 players)
UTG checks, MP2 bets $6, Hero raises to $18, UTG folds, MP2 calls $12.

Turn: ($45.75) 9 (2 players)
MP2 bets $20, Hero calls $20.

River: ($85.75) J (2 players)
Hero calls $19.90.

Final Pot: $105.65

At the flop, I thought I was holding the best hand, but wanted to make sure no one was sticking around for draws. If I got re-raised, I'd have folded... something tells me that MP2 was one of those people who would have gone all in with any PP preflop, but I'm not counting out a set, or KJ.

Was the turn push/fold? With TPTK and the nut flush draw against a player like this, I thought he could have a weaker king (KQ) with the Q of clubs.

I don't think the turn is push/fold. The fold equity you get for his last 20$ is minimal, he already has 2/3rds his stack invested in the pot and will call with a better hand or worse one, anything but a bluff. Then again, if you're willing to call for his last 20$ regardless of what the river is...(the board pairing jacks besides the Jc being probably one of the biggest scare cards to your TPTK) all your money is gonna wind up in there anyway, even a little bit of fold equity is better than nothing.

I guess if you tell yourself you are gonna fold the river unless its a blank, calling the turn is best. If you're gonna put your money in anyway, pushing the turn is best. I would not fold the turn regardless, you almost definitely have outs to the best hand if it's not the best already since your read said he could be holding a weaker K and weaker flush draw. What are the results of this one?

your turn call is okay since you put so much money in on the flop, calling any amount of his stack on later streets is +ev.

In this case, he has the redraw with the :Ac:, so this is probably true.

But what if he didn't? How much can you call without making your opponent's play correct?
