Villian is 42/19. I think I've been playing hands like this way too passively. Raise the weak ass flop bet? Raise the turn?

Calling this down is bad. He probably has a pp.. The river call is the worst part, you beat AQ? QK? And would those hands bet 3 times? I might just fold the flop also.. I just don't like calling all the way down here.

Reraising p/f makes the flop a lot easier to play here. I'd pop up his flop bet, give it up if he wants it badly enough.

Yep, me too. Reraise PF and serve him notice on the flop that a 1/3 pot bet is not going to cut the mustard.

Sometimes I re-raise this pre-flop.
Flop call is fine IMHO.
Raise that weak-sauce turn bet, he's not very deep and you can really put him to the test there.

Fnord's right--raising the turn is better.

The real question is, "Would you fold if he pushes?". Also, do players with stats like that open UTG with hands other than AQ+/TT+?

Are you reraising to try and push him off his hand? Do you really think you're good?

Yeah I've to the conclusion that I definitely should've raised that turn. For the record, he flipped KJ.

Twice on Friday. It's also possible he's terrible enough to call with AQ/AJ.

he folds to a big river raise at these stars limits. Just make the bet large enough and they always give you credit.

though, people never fold full houses.

Id like to raise somewhere and river seems like you've got the best chance.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

Preflop:Reraise.Don't just call with AK(well there are some exceptions). If he pushes preflop you can fold safely knowing he has KK/AA.

Onto the flop:I raise this to find out what he's repping. He may have an overplayed AQ/perhaps an AK?In which case you would split.

Turn: Well.....if there was a time to make a play this would've been it.Not sure what else can be done about the river.
