Donkey raises like this usually mean a bad opponent with an overpair at these stakes. Fold is fine here.

Don't give too much credence to your site's gone to showdown stat - they change like the weather depending on the cards.

5 hands later i raised pf from button with 53s to 1.50, he raised to 5, i called. flop was 34J, i bet 5, he pushed, i called, he showed QT. so i guess call or not on that last hand it set me up to get his stack later.

I would slow down and call here...AK is still a drawing hand even though it is powerful. If he shows strength after the flop and the board brings you nothing it is an easy fold. Even if he has TT you are still way behind at that point. The beauty of AK is that it is easy to get away from post flop.

you would call? i dont agree with throwing in 60bbs preflop just to check/fold on a missed flop, which will happen alot more than not. looks like push or fold to me

Yeah I'd lay this down. Why push and gamble if you don't know if he makes marginal raises like this, right? If he does not, you're in an unfavorable cointoss at best. If he does, you can get him later - just hope noone else does it before you. (seems like you did just that)
