Preflop is fine, Id make it about $3 though. On this flop Im definitely raising, probably to about $15 and folding to a push, if anybody calls then Im going to try to get to showdown cheap. On this river, yea you are probably beat and as played I would fold, but I still think a raise on the flop is best here.

If you were ahead on the flop, you were ahead on the river.

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
unless opp limped AJ or Jx stupid shit like QJ then i think the jack isnt important.
For me you picked up that raising the flop would have bought you all the ifo you needed. If you were beat you could have checked behind on the turn and probably called a river bet or even bet the turn.
I guess we've said it before but calling does nothing.

This is one lesson I need to work on. For me, reraising the flop would tell me enough to make later decisions easier. In a way, if villain pushes to my reraise or comes back hard, I'd rather fold and lose the extra bet on the flop than keep calling down to the river wherein I find I have lost so much more.
