Yoshmitsu is 11.7/8.5 over 1500+ hands. I only have ~100 hands on the other villain jonnnn419, but his stats so far are relatively fishy at 36/25 with a 3b% of 11.1%. Is this a standard cold 4b spot, and if so, what's a more ideal betsize in this spot? I chose the size I did because I was really hoping to deter jonnnn419 from flatting my 4b, and making him decide to either ship it in now, or fold.

My plan was to 4b/call if yosh folds and jonnnn ships in, and 4b/fold if yosh ships in, as I can't see him doing it with worse often.

How far off am I here?

Stacks:
UTG consider tea ($117.75)
UTG+1 eyespecialis ($102.00)
MP1 yoshmitsu ($100.00)
MP2 ur_suspect ($107.55)
CO Mr Abuls ($16.00)
BTN jonnnn419 ($98.10)
SB HYXCHEN ($99.00)
BB Hero ($101.00)

Pre-flop: ($1.50, 8 players) Hero is BB
2 folds, yoshmitsu raises to $4, 2 folds, jonnnn419 raises to $14, 1 fold, Hero raises to $38, yoshmitsu folds, jonnnn419 goes all-in $98.10, Hero calls $60.10

What ace? You mean just fold intially? Or 4b/fold? I feel that even though yoshmitsu is relatively tight and opening from MP, we have a large amount of fold equity on his range given I doubt he continues without KK+ all that often. And given the other guys fishy stats I'm relatively confident he will stack off with less than KK at times.

id like it if you went smaller and folded to Yosh shove. when u make it 38 you cant really fold for 60 more if the tight player jams. Clearly AK is good enough to stack off vs the 2nd guy though. Just make it 27$.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

I guess I'm uncertain why this is. For nutshino's raise to $27, say he calls. He's still loose enough that AK is probably 40%+ equity against his range (say JJ+, AK). I know that oop sucks, but we have some playability when we hit and some bluffability when we miss especially on low-card flops.

I'm just reading this thread to learn. I've never played above 50nl, so I won't offer any advice.
