Leads pre-flop then check/raises the flop. Throw in a smooth call on a scary board and I would want to vommit right there...

AA/KK/QQ/AK/AQ/KQ bluff maybe 5%

Board: Ac Qc Ks
Dead:
equity (%) win (%) / tie (%)
Hand 1: 33.9562 % [ 00.24 00.10 ] { AA-QQ, AKs-AQs, KQs, AKo-AQo, KQo }
Hand 2: 66.0438 % [ 00.56 00.10 ] { AsKc }

If he can't laydown AQ/KQ then yeah, it's a push...

Two pair. No way 10-J plays like this. Absolutely no way. AQ is my guess. PUUUUUSH
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol

I don't like the looks of this hand. I would call and see what he does on the turn. The check raise overbet is a very odd play here with both flush and straight draws. He probably figured one of you was certain to bet with that board. A steal is also a possibility with the weak lead bets.

I would have bet the full pot here. I think that would have given me a better sense of my opp's strength and defined my hand. I realize you want action here but you have to leave open the possibility that you are beat and the only way you can figure that out is by watching how they react to strength.

The flop smooth call could very easily be JT.

You are up against two opponents, one a smooth caller, the other someone who raises after two significant bets. You have 4 outs (less if the raiser has AA or KK) against anything that they would bet with. A painful fold.

Does anyone else want to re-raise the UTG raiser pre flop ? with AKo i will usually make that 12$ to go there and fold to a push or significant re-raise. Taking a flop with AKo to an UTG raiser is tricky because he can check raise you on almost any flop whether you hit or miss (If he has AA or KK and one of those falls on the flop, you have TPTK but he dominates you with a set)...Thats how i always feel about UTG raises anyway. Is this a bad line?

For the post flop play, tricky. If i'm betting this flop its gonna be the pot. 7$ just looks so weak you could have came in with Ax suited and be holding a weak A after the pre flop raiser checks to you. The call by Nicholson says draw to me. Villains raise is standard for if he has a hand and wants to get paid, or if he's on a bluff because he smelled weakness....I think its a toss up here, push or fold. If you just call the turn is going to bring an even harder decision unless it makes you a boat.

i disagree that betting 7 changed anything. He checked with the intention of check-raising, betting 10 instead of 7 wasn't going to make him suddenly back off.
