Another reason to stay away from big un-suited cards. I had command of this table until this hand. I thought my 3XBB bet might buy it from UTG+1, or isolate UTG. Instead I get PokerJello to call. I've got 200 hands on this guy in poker tracker and he's a 9% flop see-er. Thats right 9%.

He likes big suited connectors, so I figured there was a good chance he'd fold if it didn't hit his suit. He cold calls, so I'm thinking he's got spades, but not the ace.

Here's where I make my mistake. My $12 bet ain't enough to twart the flush draw, but I just didn't have the guts to go half pot. At the same time, I knew a check was death. So I made a pitiful attempt to buy it, and he smelled the weakness and I ran like the dog I am.
