Villain with similar stats, in a sort of similar position.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP3 ($49.25)
CO ($50)
Button ($26.75)
SB ($35.05)
BB ($13.05)
Hero ($48.95)
UTG+1 ($64.50)
MP1 ($58.30)
MP2 ($48.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q.
Hero raises to $2, UTG+1 calls $2, 7 folds.

Flop: ($4.75) T, 6, 3 (2 players)
Hero ...

Villain 36/11/5 over 36 hands.

My default play here would be to bet this to extract from top pair or flush draw...

I bet them both. I rarely take a c/c line when I have initiative.

Start by betting $3.50 in both hands.

This was just a sanity check for me...I've really started to question all my play lately.

I auto-bet both of these. What villains / situations (if any) would you guys consider NOT betting this?

I check the flop in the first hand about a 1/3 of the time to catch bluffs. That's the only time I check either flop.

So just a random 1/3 of the time, or vs especially aggressive villains? Why the first hand and not the second? Queens as an overpair are more vulnerable than TPGK?

I prefer to do this on less drawy flops that are more likely to be bluffed. Especially flop #1 hit villians range a good % and our hand is too strong to be reduced to a bluff catcher
