The villain was a loose player who did many reraises.
After the flop he made a pot size bet, when i reraised the villain was thinking really long to call my reraise.
On the turn he put in a bet something about 6/10 of the pot so i just called. On the river his bet was pretty weak so i put him on a double pair at max. and called...

Raise turn, I'd say against bad players around 75% of the time the 9 helped his hand.

And what about my play on the river?I mean his small bet shows weakness, usually when they have a made hand they do higher bets then that on the river.Should i have reraised him on the river?

Probably not. Failing to get in more money on the turn made your river decion more difficult BTW. A big part of NLHE is avoiding difficult spots.

Why dont you raise the river if you think your ahead? If he fold you got max value if he puts more than its icing on the cake.

What % of the time does a worse hand call? Better hand fold?
Can you laydown to a 3-bet if you don't push? I don't think so, hence I'm less inclined to raise.

As usual, I must agree with Fnord. He's betting into you after reraising. The 9 helped him!!!! the question here is how much did it help him. Unless he's holding T8 and hit his gut shot, you need to continue to dominate this hand. If he does haveT8, does he play the flop the same way, or even the turn? If he hits his straight there he should check to you, you continue your flop reraise with a big turn bet, and now he either smooth calls or check raises over the top of you. At this level, they tend to check/call draws, even if they aren't getting odds to chase cause they want to see one more card. Other than a possible set higher, there is nothing in this hand telling you that you are behind. Remember this hand because it will become more and more useful as ur game gets more developed.
