I'm currently trying out 10NL ring as opposed to SnG's. In a SnG situation the pot is probably large enough in relation to stacks here for me to push, but in a cash game this is probably not the best solution.

lipaslepo is loose passive preflop, and the times I have seen aggression from him post flop he has gotten folds or shown down hands that hit good. Hes also been somewhat of a policeman with regards to shorties (ie <20BB) going all in either pre-or postflop. No real read on Rangers1971.

I have been taggy, raising most of the hands I'm in and cbetting/raising a lot of flops.

How much do I reraise?

* Game ID 766387218 starting - 2006-04-22 16:25:05
** Trainspotting [Hold 'em] (0.05|0.10 No Limit - Cash Game) Real Money

- 5laphead sitting in seat 8 with $3.45
- guganl sitting in seat 9 with $3.97

UglyMutt posted the small blind - $0.05

Well i'm def re-raising. At this level I dont care too much about disguising my hand etc. I make it about $5 to go and hope he pushes back at me with whatever he has, he clearly likes it. Ideally I want heads up so lipawhatever is a bit of a pain but I wont mind too much if he comes along for the ride as you have position on him post flop.

Id probably raise to $4, there was a reraise and a caller behind that, one of them should like their hand enough to call that.

HalvSame raised - $5.10
Rangers1971 called - $5.10 [At this point he's going "oh, not a bluff? OK, let's play" in the chat]
lipaslepo called - $5.10

** Dealing the flop: Ace of Clubs, 6 of Clubs, 10 of Clubs
lipaslepo checked
HalvSame ???

So there's not too much to worry about here. With the Ac on board I don't worry about the flush, I guess I would only really worry about a K, Q or J instead of the ace on the flop.

Giving a free card here would be absolutely terrible, right? So the pot is 15.45 at this point and I have 7.85 behind. They both have me covered. If someone has AK/KK/a set of tens I don't want to give them a chance of getting of the hook (TT probably gets all in no matter what). How much do I bet?

Yes sir. Figured that was the only play, just thought I'd check it. So heres what happened:

HalvSame went all-in - $7.85
Rangers1971 called - $7.85
lipaslepo called - $7.85

** Dealing the turn: 5 of Spades
lipaslepo checked
Rangers1971 went all-in - $0.14
lipaslepo called - $0.14
Rangers1971 shows: Jack of Clubs, 10 of Spades
lipaslepo shows: 6 of Spades, 9 of Diamonds

** Dealing the river: 10 of Diamonds
Rangers1971 wins $0.28 from side pot 1
HalvSame wins $38.70 from the main pot

So these guys are duly noted. lipasdude was all "I was so bored" afterwards, well that guy is going to be playing with me alot from now on. I wonder what thy put me on, and if my textbook "crap" in the chatbox when they called preflop had any part in it .

I never played in the 'old days', but I can only imagine when people even posting on strategy forums were 4betting to 50bb.

Shoving pre after the 4bet and flat will help you rep AK instead of AA. either 5 or all is fine. any flop you are getting it in, top set or not.
