First hand was fine I think... second hand you should have folded. That bet is screaming that he has you beat, and you indulged in some wishful thinking - without so much as the Ac to bail you out if you were wrong.

one the first hand, did it ever occur to you that your opponent could have the ten? Raise the flop and see where you stand, if he reraises fold and move on, dont get sucked in to thinking AA and KK are unbeatable, yes he did have 4 tens but on the flop if you reraised his bet and he reraises you can be pretty sure he has a ten. If he just calls then on the turn its a little more tricky but same thing applies, you need to know where you stand on flops, so make him tell you.

The second hand is a little harder to tell, if he has any pocket pair higher then on the board he is going to push all in, if he thinks you are bluffing he is going all in. So to put him on trips is a very hard decision to make. This is why keeping player notes is so importent not only does it allow you to look back and see what he has done in the past, it lets you get an over all feel for what kind of player he is. You must use reads in this situation.

Dalecooper- just cause he was raised all in here doesnt mean he was beat, yes in this situation he was but how many times have you had a high pocket pair and raised preflop and got one caller and the flop was all low cards to bet the flop and have your opponent go all in. With AA,KK,and even QQ in this situation is golden you just have to watch out, cause if your opponent will call preflop raises with all pocket pairs then you have to include the heavly as an option.

o yeah and one more thing, when you get high pocket pairs like AA,KK,QQ please raise at least 4xBB, not that it would have made much more of a difference but your opponent only had to call a dollar preflop in both situations.

Brutal I got KK on the same table 3 times in like 5-7 hands somewhere just 2 days ago and the 1st and 3rd I was emptied by the same dude - one on AA all in preflop and the other 33 trippin up. The 2nd I got about 13 bucks off people. Sucks cause out of the last 1000 hands my biggest loser was KK - got it six times and net loss of like 33 bucks. Got AA six times in the same 1000 hands (included 1 4 way all in though) and net was like 140-150 something cant remember exactly.

In the first hand, your opponent raised your bet pre-flop, If it were me playing it i would have jumped at the chance to re-raise him. It would have given you more information, and gotten more money into a pot you are going to win most of the time.
