BB is 64/11 after 92 hands and UTG is 57/6 after 113 hands. Keywords are loose and ultra-fishy play (more so for BB). However, even in this case I suspected one of them had a set given that they both smooth called my flop-raise w/ out
hesitating, and UTG had open limped/called my pf raise... should I have been more confident on the turn and bet more? I am normally more aggressive but this hand exemplifies how many play their sets at 50NL... bet or check/call flop then check-raise turn if I had bet. What happened on the river?

Anyway, what moves do you make and why?

Obviously he's not worried about a 2, he's more worried about 33 and 99.

Given their stats you're being silly. Loose players are less likely to start out with a pocket pair, hence less likely to have a set. I'm just as worred about 2x here as 33 and 99, perhaps moreso. 100bb deep vs loose and really-loose, I'm playing for stacks here. I would certainly bet this turn and push that river.

I think the check on the turn on a slightly drawing board was weak.

Bet the turn as the board is getting a bit dangerous.

You are good waaaay more often than you are beat on the river, raise raise raise and try your hardest to get all your chips in. If he has a 2 you just gotta accept it, he doesn't have a 2, a 33 or a 99 often at all in my opinion.

One of the few times I don't mind the second cold call. I'm so confused on this hand I just call and say wtf nh if I lose
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol

Yeah I was pretty confused during this hand... just wasn't sure what to think. I think I feared the set too much though, and so I decided to smooth call instead of raising. Damn

Against a loose player? Maybe he's got 9x. Rarely he's got 33 or 99. Even loose players don't often play deuces, and it's rare enough I pay it.

I raise.
