As a beginner I've often heard it said that with middle pairs ...not set = no play. I don't like to automatically write it off though ... did I play this too far?

Flop: ($0.27) T, 2, 3 (5 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $0.05, MP3 calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.25, Button folds, BB folds, MP1 calls $0.20, MP3 folds.

Turn: ($0.82) 6 (2 players)
MP1 bets $0.15, Hero raises to $0.45, MP1 calls $0.30.

I'm guessing he has 9T or TJ here. I mean, I'd think he'd let go of his K3 or QJ after a pot-size raise on the flop. I'd have just called the turn, checked the river and called any none-too-high raises there.
