check/fold

against a rock, you're rarely ahead here, and when you are, he likely checks behind anyway.

Exactly the point
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

The short-buy, lack of stats and pre-flop calling put the read of "rock" somewhat lacking.

Given the read, check/fold the turn.

However, as played, I probably fire again. This looks like a semi-loose-passive to me.

This leaves $16 behind, so you can get away on the river (or a turn c/r) if you have to. Looks like the simplest line to me.

ya it's always a bitch when you lead out on the turn and you get check/raised. hate when that happens.
