Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
10 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $89.50
UTG+1: $46.64
UTG+2: $151.18
MP1: $98.50
MP2: $129.75
MP3: $91
CO: $99.15
Hero: $98.50
SB: $108.27
BB: $118.30

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is Button with 7 7
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, 5 folds, Hero raises to $4, SB folds, BB raises to $9, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: K 7 8 ($19.5, 2 players)
BB bets $15, Hero calls.

Turn: K ($49.5, 2 players)
BB bets $15, Hero calls.

River: A ($79.5, 2 players)
BB bets $15, Hero calls.

Results:
Final pot: $109.5

Does anyone else see a raise in here somewhere? I didn't want to raise the turn because that might scare him off if he has AA. If he has AK, its perfect at this point because he has little reason to think hes behind and i planneed on pushing the river after any non A or K. However, the river card sucks because im now beat by aa, kk, and Ak. Am i still a puss for not raising this river (or turn???)

The turn is perfect. He can think you have a K that isnt as good as his K. If hes got QQ hes not putting much more in here anyway (e.g. $15) and if hes got the flush draw he probably calls a reasonable sized raise.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

Anyone raise the flop here? I lean that way... there's a flush draw, it seems unlikely he's going to fold after that strong lead, you build the pot and make it easier to play for stacks.

OOOPS. Didn't pay attention to flush draw. Yes, make him pay if he has AK sooted and raise flop.

Previous statement retracted....

I re raise flop due to hearts, if he has K he may call then I push turn or call his push whatever order it's in. I've had enough bad beats to not really worry about scaring people off; i'll just take a nice pot on the turn all day!
