Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
8 players

Villian is a 37.6/3 and I've been pounding on him a bit. He has also been abusing me on the chat for picking off one of his bluffs a round or so earlier. villian's range could include A5 or A3, but could feasibly also be two big diamonds or possibly 2 hearts. looking back, my turn bet might have invited this but wtf is this river bet all about?

Stack sizes:
UTG: $13.75
UTG+1: $16
MP1: $84.85
MP2: $58.05
CO: $74.25
Staresy: $92.50
SB: $40.80
BB: $92.30

Pre-flop: (8 players) Staresy is Button with 6 6
2 folds, MP1 calls, 2 folds, Staresy raises to $2, SB folds, BB calls, MP1 folds.

Flop: 3 4 8 ($4.75, 2 players)
BB checks, Staresy bets $4, BB calls.

Turn: 2 ($12.75, 2 players)
BB checks, Staresy bets $6, BB calls.

River: 3 ($24.75, 2 players)
BB is all-in $80.3, Staresy ?????

I don't think it matters whether it's 66 or 99. We aren't throwing an 8 into villain's range here, are we?

not really no, i just dont always like calling busted draws off for 2nd pair at small stakes.
I agree to still calling however.

well, since you'd take this same line with a set...i think i'd fold here and, if he has a busted draw, make him think that huge river overbets are generally a good way to get you to fold made hands.
