BB ($54)
UTG ($39.40)
UTG+1 ($44.20)
MP1 ($79.80)
MP2 ($86.30)
CO ($9.80)
Hero ($58.35)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, A. UTG posts a blind of $0.50.
1 fold, MP1 calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.5, BB calls $2.25, 1 fold, MP1 calls $2.

Flop: ($8) 6, 9, 7 (4 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $6, Hero calls $6, BB folds.

Turn: ($20) A (3 players)
MP1 bets $18.5, Hero ...

Villain 28/2/5 over 42. Bets the flop 60% of the time. I've been running 23/23/5 over my 42 hands at the table.

I think there is too much money and too many hands you're in front of here to fold ... I would push on top of his turn bet. With his aggresion, I would see him betting flop/turn with AK/AQ/AJ/TJ/98/FD/JJ/QQ ... you're behind 66/77/99/AA/T8/85 and there are much more combinations of the first set of hands.

Agreed.

This villain actually wasn't really a station -- he just looked like one PF. Postflop he was fairly aggressive...

Results: I pushed, he flipped Ah8h and missed river.

I was fairly confident here with my push -- just a basic line check for me. Anyone have anything to add about how I played this?

Flop call any good? I figured if a draw completed I could get away easy, but also figured I was probably good at that point.
