villain is unknown, he was just dealt in BB which he folded and now his 2nd hand at the table.

    1. flop size should be bigger , like 3.5-4 $ ?

2.having absolutly no info on him and thinking that i am way back vs 22/JJ/AA/TT/KQ and at least 70% vs OESD+FD/pair+FD/ FD+GTSD/pair+GTSD/ FD/AT/JT/A2 i decided to just call. should raise/fold or raise/call turn?

    3. river seems like a value bet . i am not folding this ever , but is there any merit in raise/call river?

do you need like top set+ to try and get it in here or would you be too worried about KQ?

He posted in UTG+1? Should be pretty telling. Plenty of Ax and other crap he's prolly stacking off with.

d0z, do you raise the turn? If so how much?

wait I'm confused: "villain is unknown, he was just dealt in BB which he folded and now his 2nd hand at the table." how is he UTG now?

he must have decided to be dealt in the moment he sat down at the table , he was UTG+1 and now UTG,like supa said. my mistake saying he was BB, but yeah it's his 2nd hand at the table.

    @dozer
i'd feel pretty happy w/ 22+ to get in vs any unknown, but w/ top2 vs any decent player i am probably at the bottom of his stacking off range, vs any looser player i am making a + EV play, but w/o reads, how can you tell what kind of player he is and if stacking off is +EV? although supa is right, the fact he posted the moment he sat down could be a sign he is not a decent player.

looking back, call turn/call river cant be -EV, but it would be better if i would raise turn cause there are plenty worse to get value from. but if he shove turn over our raise, then what to do w/o any kind of reads? is he shoving worse then top2 often enough to call?
if we raise turn to 15$ and he shoves over, we are going to need ~30% equity to call and vs 22/TT/JJ/AA/KQs/AJ we are 18.5%, if we add ATs/JTs then its 29% , if we add again ATo/JTo?KQo then we have enough, 38%, but will he shove over our turn raise w/ AT/JT often enough to make it a call and does he have them in UTG often enough?

ya vs some random posting UTG+1 I'd feel pretty happy stacking turn. vs reg it'd be diff ofc, but how often is a reg gunna be opening UTG, c/c'ing flop and donking turn 1/2pot here?

UTG AA limpers tend to 3bet pre and TT seems silly to call that flop. I wouldn't be too worried about those hands. Given the few (but useful) reads we have, I'd expect to see Ax, KQ, 22 or perhaps JT here. I'm putting more weight toward AQ, AT considering the line.

i was thinking the same, i would expect AA/JJ/22 to c/r flop if they not bet themselves, the line he took seemed to me also like AQ/ATs/JTs/KQs( although the only one that makes sense is KQcc but i'd expect that to bet/call rather then c/c ) and some other random FD.

the line and sizing does seem weird for a decent player.

i guess i was to afraid to be shoved over and that is why i decided to just call to SD. it's not -Ev but i am losing value in the long run by not raising turn.

I would raise on the turn. He's either trying to block bet you with a draw, holding AT, or a scared Ace.

TBH, there are 16 combos of KQ, and it seems like the most likely hand to play this way (it seems like the T helped him, and TT is ever so slightly discounted on the flop, AT is slightly discounted preflop and on the flop and JT is discounted quite a bit preflop). This will also be Ax blocking a lot of the time, but we get at least as much value from flatting two streets as we do by giving him a chance to get away from his hand with a turn raise. Also, I don't think there are a ton of draws in his range unless he's making a pretty big blocking bet to price himself out of his own draw.

It seems nitty, but I think actually see merit in this line. Obviously bet the river for like 18 when checked to. Also, bomb the flop harder, wtf?

I'm not raising turn, nor am I folding. Bet flop more for sure, otherwise I play this the same.
