History is important here. I would love to see his notes on me after the 3k hands we've played together...

Villain is generally pretty nitty like 10-6 and a winning player, but gets upset/tilty sometimes. I'm surprised that he's still at 50nl, but he's always deep at the 200bb tables, so maybe he figures he has a better edge there or something?

Villain knows that I open light a bunch and that I open any pocket pair. Villain now 3-bets me often enough that I'm annoyed/adjusting. He probably thinks that i'd be too scared of the flush draw to play a monster like this - but I know he doesn't have that draw, so what's to be scared of The only set in my range is 44, even if I'm adjusting I'm not open limping TT/QQ from MP... He probably has TPTK or an overpair, QQ/JJ perhaps, he doesn't have TT.

I bet the flop quickly and weak, then took a couple of seconds calling the raise. Insta-checked the turn, insta-cr-pushed. I don't think he can fold his range to this line.

Like it?

That's a crazy action flop, just get the money in there.

Fail that, at least give it a 5 count before pushing the turn.

totally agree with Fnord here, u have to give the guy a reason to call off the turn all in and insta shoving isnt the way.
id personally play this hand a lot faster and reraise flop, this is what u need with the draw and 2 overs. ur opponent prolly has on average between 6 and 9 outs. top 2pr or the flush draw any overs increases outs.
the reraise looks like a flush draw reraise. ur oop. get it in.

the instacheck/push suggests that

- You are playing close attention to his table
- You were going to c/shove almost any turn

I don't think either of those would neccessarily be the case if you were bluffing. I don't know why you think your line looks weak? I would prefer to stack off on the flop.
3k post - Return of the blog!

this is a very good point, i only insta-shove if i'm focused on the table (cos I'm a 15-tabling bot) and I'm likely only focused on the table if I have a monster.
He called anyway, but this may not have been ideal...

he's a heavy winner at 50nl, and would be a winning player at 100nl... nits get paid, all they need is a little discipline and a deep roll
