jimmy44a ???

3rd hand, no reads.
The min raise on the turn looked like a set/straight, for the straight it was unlikely as only J8 or KJ would make it. However, on the river any J would make a straight ... what do you do?

Why are you checking TT in the BB. Raise to $3.50 preflop

Flop is good

Push over the turn minraise. You want it all in with the sets. He may have TP + OESD or something. I think by the river he likely has you beat, but is it 75% of the time? Without reads I guess it's a fold. I wouldn't of hesitated in pushing the turn though.

Actually, I'll only raise PF in BB with JJ+ and maybe AQ+. I don't like to play OOP.

Yup, the push on the turn was a much better line. The river was a bit harsh ... that's why I should have pushed the turn ...

IMO TT is better than AQ. OOP is not always as bad as it sounds when raising and with a strong hand. You can cbet it 90% here and raising big after so many limpers makes you look strong on all kinds of boards. I agree with weakish hands like KQ, AJ you *may* not want to tangle OOP but TT is big and should be raised for value.

I think you should re raise the flop, I hate seeing broadway straight possibilities, and if he's sitting on KJ I want to get a feel for it before the river. . re raise turn to $20

I also raise pf.

as played the river is probably a fold, but I don't fault a call here as unless he has a J you have the hand.
