in all likelihood one pair is toast against that line by a villain. Good fold.

It is very hard to put a range on an unknown min-raiser in this hand, since you know nothing of his play. I have to learn how to fold better. In this spot what I have been doing is call and c/c a smaller bet on the river. Something is just grained into my head that I could still have the best hand. It's like I look for everything that they could be betting that I beat.
Over my last 5k hands, AA KK QQ are in my top 5 losers. Sure, some of it is varience - I took a few massive beats with them, however - some of it has to be with situations like this. 9/10 when I call here, I'm beat. There have been a couple of times I'll see air or something silly like an under pair.. but I think not folding is a big leak I have to fix.

Raise to $4 pre-flop. Your turn lead is a little weak, less than 1/2 pot... I think I lead for $12 and fold to any raise. As played I fold to the minraise, as tough as it is.

i agree that if you're going to bet the turn it should be more. you've got to be wondering though about what he is flat calling you with on the flop. his line is the classic monster line. good fold.

Your image is not important at 50nl unless it is maniac, because otherwise most of the table is not noticing. Have wildbob buy you pokertracker buddy, least he can do. Plus rip why are you asking a question he obviously doesn't know the answer to?
But yes good fold, I'm glad you have learned to make this fold.

I already have PokerTracker, and yes wildbob and I already discuss hands we play online and live. I had no PokerHud details on Butch, but wildbob thought that preflop was fine, post flop was fine, but the turn he would check there to see what Butch does. Seeing Butch play in subsequent hands made me regret my QQ fold, but that's poker, we use the information we have before us.
thanks all, unger2000

I raise to $4 preflop and lead flop for approx 3/4 pot. Fold to raise at that point....

I wish I hadn't read the other responses before posting, but bad fold. You raised less than 4xbb + 1xbb per limper. You bet about half the pot. Those are (more often) signs of AK/AQ. Followed up with another weak(ish) turn bet. If was any good and had a monster he'd push on the river. Either you thinkk he's slow playing the heck out of AA/KK or he has 33/44 or 89/9T.
I'd have called and led the river for $10. (or possibly checked if a A/K hit)
