jimmy44a ???

10th hand on table, no reads on villain a part that he hasn't played any hand.
I raised and won the blinds from BU last hand.
Opp could have a flush, flush draw, 2 pairs or better or air.
What do you do here? If we had one pair and a flush draw would be an OK clear push I think, but here? Would I just call and check/fold turn if we don't hit?

gingerwizard is an unknown quantity at this point
I'd call and see what happens on the turn. BasN stacks off quite light so I'd be tempted to check/call a blank turn and hope to nut the river.

I'm not even sure you're behind yet as this type of player will often minraise the flop to test you.

Just think of it as a big draw with implied odds as if he does have a spade he will stack off to a fourth on the board.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

This never is 2 pair, it's TP, a set, a flush (draw) or air. I almost always push here because we need some FE and we're often not getting paid when the spade hits.
With gingerwizard's read this can be a call.

You only have to call $3.3 into a $14 or so pot. Your Break even percentage is 18.6% if I've done the maths right and your about 18% to hit the flush on the turn, looks like a simple call to me. On the turn if you missed it depends on how much he bets and how much you think you can win on the river if you hit.

minSim are you pushing the flop for balance? What kind of hands call you when you do?
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc
