This 50 NL.
Not a real hand history but I remember this quite well. I am
UTG and get dealt KK. I raise 5xBB to 2.5.
MP shortie (donkish) calls.
LP full stack raises to 8.5 (solid, regular).
I call (getting alarmed here already) to see the flop.
Now MP mix this is up going allin for 18.5.
LP raises me allin. I think for a while and fold my KK.
What do you think?

By smooth calling his original reraise you underrepresented your hand. This widens his range to get all in, so I'm all in here, and if he has AA, so be it.

Hmm, interesting opinion. Did you considere that villain
is solid regular and so am I? And he probably knows me as well as
I know him...
So I should have 3-betted his 8.5? How much 20? 25?

you played it fine. the push from shorty created unexpected complications-by calling villains 3bet you are giving him a chance to make a mistake later if he doesnt have AA. I agree that this push is almost as likely to be QQ as AA, so I call. If he's aware of both his and your image as you say, it's even possible he's trying to push u off your hand by representing aces knowing you hardly ever have them yourself, in order to isolate with shorty who rarely has anything good.
All that being said, folding is not a big mistake at all.

Shortie had something like KJ suited.
Villain had AA just like I suspected because of
my table image. I was quite sure that after I called
his 3-bet at UTG being initial raiser he would not
raise me allin with anything else but AA.
But maybe I could re-reraise at these occasions. Against
unknowns for sure...
