fold pf, as played, bet flop, bet more on the turn. this way, you dont end up getting stacked by 56?

after opp so graciously only min-rereaises your river raise, don't push. Call or dump it.

As noted, the other streets aren't too great.

call the river when he raises you. Either 56 or 78 got lucky.

bet every street.

Alright thanks, I knew pretty immediatley I had fucked this hand up.

To be results oriented for a second villian showed 44. Now obviously he played it even slower than me. How would I have gotten away from this on the river if I had bet flop/turn hard and he comes over the top on river? I have to call that right?

Tons of players on stars limp low pp in any position. How can I avoid situations like this?

I was gonna mention 44 earlier, seriously!

Avoiding situations like top set vs. a boat is extremely difficult, and one that doesn't warrant much worry IMO.

Getting away from AK/AA when someone tells you that they have a set is something that needs working on much more.

As is folding shit like A7o preflop.

1. Stop limping hands that only make one pair. I had/have lots of success limping behind small/mid stakes players who dont raise pps preflop with 78s/Axs etc
2. Stop slow playing. If the only time you bet this flop is wit ha seven then you need to try and play a few more hands in position with a couple of players in the pot i.e give action on some cheap streets. Then you will get players to play with you.
3.If you bet the flop, bet the turn and got pushed on id have called with A7 and just gone ul he flopped a boat in this hand. As played there are at least a selection hands opp could be playing that you dont beat in the river 44/87/56. That measn when you raise for value you call the reraise, perhaps even fold (although thats probably bad at 50nl lol) because opp just told you he beats the obvious trips hand.
4. Exercise and learn about building a pot and pot control. You should have had all the money in on the turn or have been committed this river io, in which case results werent important if opp flopped the boat.
