I took a break around December that lasted for around 3 month.. At the beginning of April I decided to get back into it, and put it a little volume (only like 40k hands or so since starting back), and have basically been getting my ass kicked. I know I'm running a little bad, but I feel like I'm making a lot of mistakes I should be avoiding. So for a bit I'm going to be 8 tabling 50NL FR (playing shorthanded on some tables with fish), and reviewing the spots I wasn't 100% sure about afterwards, posting most hands on the forum. So here goes.

Villain is 14/9 over 141 hands. At the time I was not aware of this, and only had a smallish sample on him.

Is calling turn okay? Or no? C/f river 100% here right?

SB Hero ($93.45)
BB Zamioculcas ($61.45)

Pre-Flop: ($0.75, 8 players) Hero is SB
5 folds, IDAHOCP3 raises to $2, Hero raises to $6.50, 1 fold, IDAHOCP3 calls $4.50

Flop: ($13.50, 2 players)
Hero bets $6.50, IDAHOCP3 calls $6.50

Turn: ($26.50, 2 players)
Hero checks, IDAHOCP3 bets $12.50, Hero calls $12.50

River: ($51.50, 2 players)
Hero checks, IDAHOCP3 goes all-in $32.60, Hero folds??? ($67.95)?

Very small sample of only 14 hands on villain here.. He was 43/21/5. Unfortunately I didn't notice him at the table before this hand, so no relevant reads other than stats.

Meh, pretty lost on turn... When he checks back flop I kind of want to lead turn for value + protection against AK/AQ type hands.. Is this correct? After checking turn, is this is a clear check/call spot?

Turn: ($8.75, 2 players)
Hero checks, alonso205gt bets $5, $5 to Hero ($48.25)?

This may be a retarded hand.. Maybe not.. Either way villain seemed like a big fish running 60/20ish over 50 hands.

Bu opener was pretty nitty at 10/4 with a 17% steal over 400 hands.. Other villain is 19/3/1.7 over 120 hands.. Not sure if I should be value/block betting the river smallish, check/calling, or check/folding.

Another big donk (58/9 over 62). Never quite sure what to do on the turn here.. I don't think I can valuebet, but at the same time he's quite bad so I don't want to fold. If he was deeper I'd probably check/call, then check/evaluate river. But given stack sizes I don't know if that's still best?

Turn: ($3.75, 2 players)

Sucofmodeerf is 30/25 over a small 15 hands sample. UTG is 27/12 over 40. I definitely want to valuebet the river, however not sure on sizing. I feel like if he check/shoves I'm likely behind, but I'll be getting close to 4:1 by then, so is the plan to bet/call?

I've seen you at the tables recently, hope the grinding is going well...It's late so quickly:

1) b/f turn. Pls don't c/c turn if you're not planning on stacking off riv
2) lead turn
3) fold turn
4) I still 3B pre, but calling is fine too. As played I lead flop. I b/f this river for value
5) b/f turn, prob c/f river unimproved if he calls
6) This is def the most interesting hand for me. His range pre likely includes a lot of SC's & SP's, which means he could be sandbagging sets due to dryness of flop or decided to stick around with 5h6h 4h5h 6h4h which just got there. Bet/folding sucks here due to stack sizes, and since we're read-less I guess we should assume he's bad. I guess I bet/call, but I'm not opposed to showing it down

(1) Not sure if we get much value with a turn bet. Only worse hand I think he would consider calling would be JJ, and he still has TT/KK-AA in his range. My reasoning for check/calling was I felt there was a slim possibility he was floating with AK, or betting JJ when I checked not knowing why. But I think it's probably best to c/f turn?

(2) Yeah for sure I should have led turn. Not sure why I didn't. What's my plan if he happens to raise? What if he calls, river plan?

(3) Meh.. I really don't know.. He's bad so I want to think he can do this with like A9, T9, 98, etc type hands, but I guess he does show a 7 here a tremendous amount of the time.

1 - I'd far rather have whatever reads you had at the time... If he's unknown then I bet/bet. I don't know what a random 50nl tag plays here or what reads you had so this is hard for me to analyse...

2 - call, c/f a lot of rivers.

3 - meh idk, seems close. go with your gut.

4 - ~$5. Don't c/c.

5 - bet turn.

6 - b/c $20 ish. Checking river is v bad.

QQ - i bet-fold turn here. check-call is awful cos of stack sizes.
JJ - well, don't fold lfdo. Call turn as played.
KK - gross spot. Big fish can see two sevens on the board. Big fish likes JJ here. Hand is fine i think.
AK - you don't 3b cos his continuing range is too tight? I like to see his cbet stat before deciding on both flop and pre-flop. River is pretty clear gaybet for value
79o - keep betting
AQo - i nit-check behind here

QQ - I don't see why bet/folding turn is such a clear play.. What hands are we getting value from really?

JJ - Obv not folding.. I should have bet turn, but I thought c/calling might be best.

AK - 3betting pre is prob best, but calling obv isn't bad. I'm not really a fan of leading flop. I b/f river for $5.

97o - I guess betting is okay, but given he's short he might shove on me a decent amount..

AQo - I agree that it's a pretty std valuebet, and I bet $18, and he folded. I planned to call, but didn't like it.
