After I get some replies on flop I will post the turn. Haven't played for ~ 6 weeks so I may just be being retarded.

Dunno wtf to do here, I only have about 15 hands on opp due to HDD failiure but I remember from before that he's around 20/15 and fairly aggro (so not much of a read...)

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG+1 ($38.85)
MP1 ($53.55)
MP2 ($49.55)
CO ($64.60)
Hero ($50.55)
SB ($49.50)
BB ($59.30)
UTG ($50.25)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6, 4.
5 folds, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BB calls $1.50.

Flop: ($4.25) T, A, 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, BB raises to $6.5.....

I feel that calling will surrender the pot on any non diamond turn. I think I have equity and fold equity. But should I just take the very generous odds to see a turn?

In my opinion it's best to call.

The pot isn't ours yet, so we can't really speak of surrendering it. Instead, let's consider the EV of our options and the likelihood we commit mistakes with each.

You have great implied odds considering you're in position and you think villain is fairly aggressive, so suppose we call. The pot will then be about $17 and we'll have about $40 behind. If villain leads for almost the pot, say $15, then we're calling $15 to win the $32 in the pot along with the other $35 in his stack, which gives us just slightly over 4:1 assuming we always stack him and always win. It would be pretty close, and probably a fold since we don't hold the nut flush draw and once we account for the rake, etc. However, villain's check almost-min-raise could lead us to believe that he's not quite that adept at bet-sizing, and anything much smaller than a $15 bet on the turn is probably going to make a call there easily +EV. With a call on the turn, we have an easy time making +EV decisions for the rest of the hand.

If you were to raise, how much would you raise to?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I don't see any equity in this spot.

Villain just check min-raised us when we have a flush draw = great odds to call. This move by villain is horrible so let's take advantage of it.

OK that sounds fairly resounding. By equity I meant that we lose a lot of equity on a missed turn. I thought a villain like this could have AJ/AQ or even worse which we can get him off with a raise to ~$17. I guess that's all well and good but most of the time we go all-in when I'm a 65:35 dog.

Now for the turn, the more I look at this the more obvious I think it is but I want to double check anyway...

First, realize that we lose equity with any draw when we miss on the turn, and that fact is largely irrelevant unless we would be a favorite on the flop in which case you would like to get in as much money as possible (ie: combo draws).

As played you have no fold equity so you must check.

Call flop to exploit the small mistake he made, instead of trying to get him to make an even bigger one when more often you're the one making a mistake. You're getting darn near immediate odds to call this and he's already told you he's got a piece of this.

On turn, take the free card. He's not going anywhere, and he may make a crying call if you hit the river. You don't want to put any more money into this pot without the flush or (possibly) two pair.
