Ok, so that's what I did. He called, at the time I thought my river bet was a little too small.

Looking back at the hand later, I reckon I should have bet 25 on the turn and shoved river?

yay/nay?

Should I give up on the river since it's likely he has some aq/ak/kq type of hand?

I guess I should add in some reads or something , yeah I'm running at 19/14/1.8 or something close to that, haven't got out of line, certainly haven't been caught. He's too loose pf, but doesn't appear to be a total moron, i.e. should be able to lay down a hand here.

I have jman's bluff magazine article in mind which makes me think this is good.

You have an extremely tight range by the river bet. By this I mean that your range should be generally weighted towards 66/44/AhXh and air. In the long run if you make this play with these hands and mix in a few bluffs so that opponents will pay you off then you are going to make more money.

Your range has to be tight here though. If it contains a lot of mediocre second best hands you lose a lot of value turning your hand into a bluff.

Once again, your range (taken with this line) would need to only include sets, flushes, and air.

Just my 2 cents. Trying to get better at this no limit thingy so take it with a whole shaker full of salt.
