 I've been running bad in PLO and LHE lately, so I've gotten back into playing some NL ring. Tonight I ran about 24/5 and stole/continuation bet a lot of pots postflop.

Hand1
----------

Reads: Villain was quite loose and aggressive (58/25 preflop, generally aggressive until resistance is met postflop). He has a very wide stealing range, but his calling range is quite a bit tighter. Any value in pushing this river? It didn't seem to me that he was on a flush draw, especially after his river check.

Reads: Villain is kind of a nit, stats 25/3. His early position raise is most certainly JJ+/AK, perhaps TT as well. Post flop he routinely put out a pot-sized continuation bet the majority of the time. How should I respond to his flop check/tiny turn raise?

Reads: Another laggy villain (36/8), has been caught playing some real trash hands, very aggressive postflop. To me it looked like this large flop bet was a whiffed AK or even a flush draw/draw+pair.

Reads: Villain is somewhat solid, about 20/5 preflop. I'm always warry of the tiny flop check-raises, but I had been cbetting a lot at this table. I decided to call the flop and a good card came on the turn, putting me ahead if he happened to have T9. How's my push?

 1- tough one, really depends on exactly what you think of villain at the moment. i check behind here a lot.

2- reraise preflop, bet flop. its gonna be really hard to balloon this pot up like you want to with the pot so small and its the turn already. as played, i think you gotta 3-bet the turn. seems like he's got aces but is just passive as hell, raise to like 15 then lead the river for a bet he'll call.

3- this is a real real marginal spot. just how much has he been raising and pushing people around? Decide on the flop whether you wanna play for stacks, and call then see about getting the rest in on the next streets. calling him down is probably good here if he's way overaggro.

4- i think the converter messed this one up, but looks like he only has 4 dollars left after his turn bet. this whole hand is fine.

 Hand 1 - I'm betting this turn harder... around 25-30.. That is a bad river card, checking behind here may be the better option but you would lose huge value against weaker hands.

Hand 2 - I would be re-raising preflop here since it is a min-raise. I don't like the flop check either, the pot isn't really big enough fo ryou to be disguising your hand. And if you check and he bets around $2 are you going to c/r? As played I would 3bet to turn around $15 or so... the pot wasn't built at all and you need to start building it.

Hand 3 - I'm ditching this preflop to avoid situations like this. As played I fold very fast here on the flop. I know the read you have on villian but this is how they end up making their money, situations like this.... I just really don't want to get involved in calling down a bluff with TPDK.

Hand 4 - Yeah this hand is kinda screwy by the converter. But as played he has less than 1/2 of a stack and I'm not folding here.

Hand 1 - I can't put him on many hands that would call a river bet that wouldn't beat you... QQ? Played very passively and would probably bet the river. AQ? Why doesn't he bet this turn? Weird hand... I probably check behind river, but that might be weak.

Hand 2 - Re-raise turn! Since he didn't bet the flop, you have to start building the pot now. I raise it to $15 I think. Up to that point, I'm ok with how you played it... villain is a nit, you're last to act pre-flop, so I think you can just call here for deception purporses. I might lead flop to build the pot, but since you said he usually c-bets, you figured he'd do that for you. Since he didn't, you need to get as much money as possible in on the turn.

Hand 3 - Fold to pre-flop raise. If the table doesn't have a below average PFR% I probably don't even call the BB here. As played I definitely fold the flop even to a maniac. If you really want to play, push.

Hand 4 - Raise to $2 pre-flop. I push over his c/r on the flop. He only has $15 left in his stack so why not gambool? As played, turn push is good.

 hand 1) all you can eat baby!!

hand 2) $18, push river. There are alternative lines you can take now, but I think the best way to play this hand is to start building that pot preflop by 3-betting.

hand 3) I don't know, all options suck. Probably call and see what he does on the turn.

 Thanks for the input guys, here's the results:

Hand1: I pushed into the ~$75 pot for his last $35, he called with AdTd for the nuts.

Hand2: I 3bet up to $14 total and he folded, said he had queens.

Hand3: I pushed, villain had 7c4c.

Hand 4: Villain had a set of 9's.


Look back at them, I think hand 1 I should have checked behind. The only thing that really makes sense is a smaller flush draw by the villain (who seemed to act like he was afraid of Ax of diamonds himself..).

Hand 2 I will usually raise preflop, but I figured on an undercard flop I could make more, or an Axx flop I could lose less against his range.

Hand 3 I went a little overboard, lesson learned.

Hand 4 with the villain's smaller stack (he had $24.75 left after his flop raise) I don't min taking one off for $4 to get away if a really bad card comes.
