Guys,

Could you give me some feedback on these hands?

Thanks!

Hand 1:

Texas Hold'em $0.15-$0.25 NL (real money), hand #435,681,267
Table San Juan, 6 Aug 2007 9:30 PM ET

Seat 1: Adrenoah ($28.60 in chips)
Seat 2: koli14 ($25.00 in chips)
Seat 3: Valerick X ($32.25 in chips)
Seat 4: startagain ($35.30 in chips)
Seat 5: Travinski2 ($27.20 in chips)
Seat 6: Liouville ($48.70 in chips)
Seat 7: EAGLVLER ($05.05 in chips)
Seat 8: danasse ($20.65 in chips)

FLOP [board cards 7S,10H,7H ] (pot: $0.75)
PAT59 x checks,
Adrenoah checks,
jimbo_jimmy bets $0.50,
PAT59 x calls $0.50,
Adrenoah folds.

TURN [board cards 7S,10H,7H,9D ] (pot: $1.75)
PAT59 x checks,
jimbo_jimmy bets $1,
PAT59 x bets $2, [b]==> knowing that opp was aggressive this seemed like a steal[b]
jimbo_jimmy calls $1.

RIVER [board cards 7S,10H,7H,9D,3D ] (pot: $5.75)
PAT59 x bets $5,
jimbo_jimmy ????

Villain was loose-aggressive. I was tight but has not played a lot of hands. Only a 7 will win (I don't think opp has 8J or 86). What do you do?
Should I have checked on the turn for pot control?

No reads on henrikaa29 x, played very few hands.
How do you play the good draw on the flop? Do you raise more?
On the turn I think he has the A, that kills the 2 outs for the sixes and the 3 outs for the fours. Now I'm playing with only 9 outs (if he does not have a better draw).
I suppose here we have to fold, right?

jimbo_jimmy checks,

No reads as padley87 just entered the table.
This is a standard call, I suppose? Raising is bad, I think as only a flush would call and we might be bluffed of the pot ...

RIVER [board cards QD,10D,AS,10H,9D ] (pot: $21.65)
ra9220 bets $15.60 and is all-in,
jimbo_jimmy ???

ra9220 had entered a the table a couple of hands before, but I had played a hand with him two hands before, where I had been very aggressive and I had the impression that he had pushed me (on the river) of the hand while I had the best hand.
I think I played fine up to the flop. However, the turn is really bad. He had already showned he was not going away, I think the best play is flat call because of the T, no?
Then comes the dredfull all-in on the river, can you call?

Hand 1: raise from the button, full pot on flop, turn is fine, river fold it's almost always a 7 here.

Hand 2: On the flop, your "call" of his 40c makes the pot $1.30, so a full pot raise is $1.70. In limped pots you should bet full pot to negate implied odds.

fold turn

Hand 3: bet/fold turn, on river I would lead for $2. Calling is fine, since you're likely splitting or behind folding would be fine too.

Hand 4: I just call turn. On river you need to be good here ~40% of the time. I don't think you are.

I'm curious about the betting in hand 4. Your raise on the flop offers him better than 4-1 so he can call with any flush or str8 draw. The turn raise offers more than 5-1. Is the point that when you are unsure if he's drawing or has a made hand you can't risk raising enough to deny the draw's odds? Or what?
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc

You are right pants! I completely messed up the betting on the flop & turn.
On the flop I should have raised to around $5 and on the turn I should have simply called.
