This is just a quick question since I think my line up to river is ok, but I prob left some $ on the table 3 betting the river to only 35.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
UTG ($99.75)
UTG+1 ($7.64)
MP1 ($32.54)
MP2 ($8.75)
MP3 ($48.97)
CO ($110.55)
Button ($27.45)
Hero ($108.55)
BB ($45.95)
Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 , 5 . Hero posts a blind of $0.25.
2 folds, MP1 calls $0.50, 2 folds, CO calls $0.50, Button calls $0.50, Hero (poster) completes, BB checks.
Most times I'd fold the SB with 95s, but this table seemed passive, and decent stacks, so I thought I could get paid off.
Flop: ($2.50) T , 9 , 5 (5 players)
Hero bets $2, BB calls $2, MP1 folds, CO calls $2, Button folds.
Turn: ($8.50) 9 (3 players)
Hero bets $4, BB calls $4, CO calls $4.
River: ($20.50) 4 (3 players)
Hero bets $9, BB folds, CO raises to $20, Hero raises to $??
I don't have a good read for CO post flop, but his stats seems tight-passive - 60 hands at 17/3/.5. I don't think he has a good read on me either, but I'm tag generally.
Villain's line looks like a slow played boat/trips or backdoor flush. I want to raise as much as hands I beat like flushes, 55 or 44 or A9/K9 will probably call. I have about 82 more I can raise over his raise.
3bet is standard, right? How much do you go for?

bet 60-90 and hope he isnt bluffing. I might have check raised the turn but that scares a lot of second best hands away and perhaps the draw, if he even has it.

Yea, I thought flush too. I'd make it 60 and hope he pushes.

You guys are right on, villain showed 8d7d. I bet he'd call 60+...damn. His raise just surprised me, and I was short on time from mutltitabling, but I should've been more prepared for it.

What would a checkraise accomplish here and why do we think hed bet if we checked?
I think id probably just push on the river, it isnt a huge overbet and will get paid off by a flush that might just get a smaller raise.

I think a call is fine too;if he pushes you will have an uneasy call (think the KGB boat).

How many players call a flop lead bet oop with tp and then bet to when checked? Answer: a lot of fish. Thats why i c/r here at times because they wont always believe it and its an easy way to take down a pot if we have say QJ or something here.
Id say this because if opp is bad/passive enough to call on this flop with tp then he might very well be bad enough to call a turn c/r with just top pair or a draw too...
