I would have called down on hand 1, played it the same as you in hand 2 and popped him on the turn on hand 3.
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .

The problem was I wasn't sure if he was just a little LAggy or plain nuts. He was folding 50%+ pre-flop, folding to Turn bets and showing medium strength hands (if a little overplayed.)

Hand 1 was my first hand with him. Without a spade, it's tough to drop another 2BB into the hand. I figured I may have the SB beat, and was going to check through either the Turn or River until LAgg crashed the party. Most of the time, this is a fold for me on the flop.

Hand 3 is an interesting puzzle. I have to show his cold cap + the UTG raise some respect, so I played it "way behind or way ahead" style. If he's just spewing chips at me with overs I knew he'd bet it all the way unless I gave him a reason to slow down. I considered poping the turn, but with only LAg in the hand at that point I didn't see myself getting more than 2BB out of him between the turn + river, so I cut my risk in case he had the goods.

Yeah, that's a good line to take, my attempts to isolate maniacs recently in 2/4 seem to blow up in my face when they show me AA or KK to my QQ.
