blinds 5c/10c
my stack is around 50BB and everyone has me covered
I'm the BB
limp-limp
I have 54o I check
the flop is 4-4-A
SB bets 50 cents
I raise to $1.50
BOTH call
the turn is an A
now I'm thinking... they don't raise preflop... ever
they are loose and kind of aggressive postflop (or running really really goot)
but what hands can I beat here with that kind of flop action? I just got outdrawn by an ace if the ace is playing
I split with a four

SB bets 2 dollars...
Hero ...?

short/heads up games are so read dependent, its really hard. but i'd say i'm folding here most every time. there is a pretty good chance that they do not have an ace, but given no other information about how they've been playing other than they're laggy, i have to assume they wouldn't have called your flop bet without something, in which case I think the chance of you splitting/losing are high enough to lay it down.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

Here is how it went down:

I fold the other guy calls
the river is a 9
SB bets something like a dollar
BN goes all in
SB calls
BN shows 99
SB shows TT
BN takes it down
