Playing $100 NL @ Excalibur 1/2 blinds
Im in MP with AA.
I raise to $10 which was generally the games raising amount.
Big Lagg is in Cutoff , which was calling most raises to gamble and would also constantly flip over bluffs. Calls
Flop is QJ10 two suited spades.
I bet out pot size bet ($25)
Lagg raises to ($75) which essentially puts me all in.

Call or Fold?
Holy crap I cant play against Yoda!!

Welcome back to poker, scgolfer!

When he bluffs: Is it at weakness or is it just generally when the flop is scary? That's a great board to bluff into and if he's doing it, you've got to believe you're AA is going to survive. Hopefully you've got the ace of spades.

Scary board,. But if LAgg is what you think he is, he could be betting like this with Any hand from KQ to J3. But his overbet, he could be praying for a fold.

I say call. But I'm really fearing the result.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

Im calling here scgolfer, for two reasons.

First of all you seem to have an excellent read on this player, he could have TP or even second pair by the way you described how he played and when he bluffed. This is an excellent opportunity to bluff and I think his taking advatage of that.

Second, he overbet the flop, if he had a very good hand he wouldnt do this, becuase he will be afraid to take you out of the pot and only win 10+ dollars. However their is the possibility he hit his str8 and he overbet the pot because he was afraid of the flush, in which case your doomed

It's a close decision, so it probably comes down to your bankroll. If you have a good read on him and think your hand is good, go ahead and call if you are willing to rebuy. If you only planned on spending $100 total that night, I'd be more inclined to play it safe (I know, scared money is dead money, but if you're over the age of 10, the Excaliber is not really a fun place without money...).

This was much harder decision for me then Hand #1. I FOLDED. An here was my reasoning
#1 Instinctively by his mannerisms, I think I was behind. Even though he was a Lagg.
I have AA with a board of Q J 10 two spades, If Im behind I have virtually no outs.
He could have K9, J10, QJ, AK, 98 or a combo of a pair and the flush draw.
"If" he does a king is my only out or another A (maybe), and maybe a king that isnt a spade.
I maybe should have told everyone that the guy was a big Lagg but did know how to play, this wasnt his first experience.
Well I fold and he flips over QJ. So I was behind with a few outs. So it was at least a good fold. GRRRRRRRR!!!!

Ill post my entire trips later today!
Holy crap I cant play against Yoda!!
