stats on villain would be nice. If hes a complete station, then maybe this is ok, but i dont think anyone is calling that river without the Kc or Qc.
Also, raise to $1.25 preflop since there is a limper.

I wouldn't expect a higher club from someone who just checked on the river.
But then, I've been growing gills lately, so I would probably get stacked off on this hand, as I assume you did....

What is calling here ? I think only the Ace or king of clubs. In fact if I had an ace or a king of clubs in this scenario I might have played it the exact same way as villain. Hoping you would make a donk bet on the river. I think you should have probably bet two and if he came over the top folded.

Surely $2 is a donk bet on the river, it's asking to have the pot taken away from me. It's either push or check behind here surely. I figured that he would bet the river as the 4th club is scaring any low flush into checking behind. Perhaps I am only getting called by a better hand but I think a $2 bet here would have been ridiculous.

i bet you have been raising on the button all night, and CO knows that. it hink that that is the case cause you raised with QJo with another limper on board. I think u played it fine, looks like you are trying to steal the pot, and at that level you would get a call by a much worse hand.
regardless my best advice is fold preflop

I'm still learning so bear with me.
I would probably check the river. Here's my logic the only thing you're getting called with is an Ace or King. If the villan doesn't have it he's not calling. For this reason I don't put my $10 on the line.
I also agree with the previous poster if I've got the ace I would've played it like the villan.

{moved from NLHE Strategies}
I bet a little more pre-flop and more on the flop. River is very read-dependent. If you have a bad image or villain is a calling station, I don't mind this bet. Without a read I'm probably betting $5, hoping to get a call from a smaller club (and calling a raise since you're priced in with the 3rd nuts).
Why aren't you buying in full?

Zook that's so nice of you to assume I bought in short instead of spewing chips.
I had bought in short because I was a little under rolled for 25NL, now I am suffieciently rolled and am buying in full
