Hi,

I spent some time thinking about this hand. Unfortunately the Hand Converter cannot convert this HH...

BB is something like 70/12 and very aggro.

$25NL, FullRing
SB: Hero ($38.60 in chips)
BB: Villain ($18.80 in chips)

Dealt to Hero [Kh Kc]

All fold to Hero (SB).

Hero raises $1.25 to $1.50
Villain calls $1.25
*** FLOP *** [6c Qh Qs] (Pot: $3)
Hero bets $2.50
Villain calls $2.50
*** TURN *** [6c Qh Qs] [Ts] (Pot: $8)
Hero bets $4
Villain calls $4
*** RIVER *** [6c Qh Qs Ts] [5s] (Pot: $16)
Hero bets $30.60 and is all-in
Villain calls $10.80 and is all-in

I figured a push by Villain on the river would give me 2.6 - 1 odds, which I would probably call without feeling comfortable; so I pushed myself.

This worries me if your read is good that he's "very aggro"

If he's always betting/raising, why isn't he raising you here?

That was *exactly* what I was thinking on the river. In my not-too-experienced point of view, he could have anything from JJ- to A6, AT or a Q alike.

Would you consider the play on the river as mistake. I think 2.6-1 is just too compelling. Should I have checked the turn? (Which would very likely have provoked him betting or even shoving)

I'm not sure about the turn, but if you are going to call his push, you are right that it's better to bet it yourself and give him a chance to fold.

LOL at pushing into suddenly passive aggros on scary boards.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

dude, if he is a " super" aggressive monkey guy, Why not use Rope a Dope strategy ? i c/c, c/c and bet out on the river As played, he had you beat here most of the time just because his passive line with aggerssive image looked like he had trips or boat already. However, i don't think stacking off KK against this guy is a mistake given his stack and this micro level.
