I really wasn't expecting him to shove over the top. I couldn't decided whether he had the flush or whether he hit 2-pair like QJ (and perhaps he had a diamond) and shoved to protect any flush or straight drawers. I figured from his low aggression that he probably did have the flush but now I'm not so sure. I do have a problem of not being aggressive and brave enough so maybe I should have called. Should arguably have checked the flop considering I missed but I usually like to fire off even if I miss to see where I stand. Thoughts?

Deanglow is on a distinguished road
I think you'll see J10,Q10,QJ, or a smaller straight enough here to justify a call.
