How much to bet on the river? Villain is not playing as if he has a flush.
What about 1/2 pot? Then can we fold to a push?

First of all, you need to widen your raising range when folded to in the CO (even more so with the extra blind).
On this flop, your hand is good almost always, don't worry about the other guy having flopped a flush in raised pot heads up. Bet turn.
As played, bet the river for as much as you think he'll call if he hit the ace.

Raise pre-flop. Raise the flop harder to $10 or $11. As played bet turn for $12. You can't let him draw cheaply to a 4-flush and you can't be too scared of a flopped flush b/c it's unlikely and you have outs.
btw, you have a set, not trips. Trips is when you have 3 of a kind with 2 of them on the board.

Actually, I normally do not raise with 88 in CO with limpers ... however, I do it with 99+. Do you raise PF all pairs in CO with limpers or only something like 66+ or 55+?
Hould you slow down if you turn bet is raised?

if your turn bet is raised, call looking to fill up on the river. But you can't play a set slowly because he may be holding an Ad or Kd. I would avoid being too paranoid about flopped flushes, your set is usually good. What you should be paranoid about is the 4th diamond falling, so turn bet is a must.

Raising 88 here isn't a must, just a preference and it depends on your opponents. But I'd probably raise something like 77+ here. If your table is full of loose pre-flop players who fold to c-bets, you could even raise 22+ with positive expectation.

I wouldn't slow down. If you never fold a set it would be a very small leak.

raise preflop as stated with the OOP poster already in the pot with ATC. Lead out the flop and turn and look to get in as much as you can by the river.

Man you gotta raise the flop more. And really really bet the turn.. you already showed strength by raising the flop, so checking here to slowplay (or go for a c/r?) is stupid. Milk it for all it's worth while he's still drawing!

this is pretty much a train wreck, i hate every street.
i like to raise pre flop, doing so makes playing the flop soo much easier and better. it allow you to lead and build the pot without raising any eyebrows. check min raise on a 3 flush board is bad because it tells eveybody youre strong, yet gives them odds to draw which isnt a good combo. checking on the turn and giving a free card after check min raising on the flop is bad. as for the river, valuetown it and hope he has the ace of diamonds.
how i would play it- raise pf, bet flop, play for stacks if it gets raised. if someone calls, bet the turn, if someone raises call unless they raise big. your implied odd are good vs a made flush because they often dont slow down if the river pairs. if they call on the turn, bet again on the river. if someone has the ace of diamonds you might get another call.

Heads-up to the flop I don't think it's such a big deal if we get weak hands to give us lots of action.
