The fact that he was so quick to get the $ into the pot screams premium overpair or flush draw. I call that every day since he was the pf raiser and is likely holding QQ, KK or AA or is trying to suck out a flush. If he has 99, then gg.

Lead the flop. If you're going to c/r, make it a little more, you're giving him odds to draw. Definitely call the push.

yeah you gave him almost 3:1 on the flop call which could have been disastrous.

Do I really want to lead the flop for a pot sized raise if I think he has a flushdraw? I would think that since the chances of my hand improving are slim it would be better to try and get all the money into the pot on the flop, against an opponent who is most certainly going to C-bet when checked to, the c/r seemed like a good way to do it, though you're probably right in that I should have made it more like $8-9 with my rr.

Personally I think c/r's are scarier than donk bets.

Well button sure made this hand easy for you to play, I don't understand what the question is? I probably would have lead vs c/r but c/r seems fine to me.
