Your first re-raise is weak, make it $2. When BB raises I might raise again, to isolate him, but I'm probably just calling.

Yeah, when the first guy raises, make a pot size reraise. If a third player comes over the top of that, I'm folding. In general, you dont want to get in 100bb deep preflop with AK.

dont min raise. re-raise to $2, then flat call his 3-bet. if you feel the need to 4 bet, it doesnt need to be for your stack

I'd have probably reraised to around $2 and then called another raise. You're a (marginal) underdog to every pocket pair here.

his 3-bet may have been weak, but it wasn't just a chimp hitting the raise button. what types of raises has he been making, and has he been 3-betting often?
if he has, and they arent usually a minreraise, then i like it, since it could easily be a weaker ace or a weaker king, especially with all of the dead money in the pot.
if he hasnt been 3betting or his 3-bets have been minraises, then it looks a lot more like a big hand. a loose pf raising standard is one thing, but many of these people will still not reraise with anything but a few hands, especially with a reraise (albeit a small one) already in.
you neglected to mention how you had been playing though, that would help a bit too.

I hadnt seen him 3 bet pf yet but he was reraising hands like QJs/A10s. He was also calling large pf raises with stuff like A9s and KQs.
I was playing pretty nitty. I was pretty sure he would make that play with AJs+ and I couldnt put him on high pp cause his 3 bet was so weak, and he was a very loose/agressive player preflop.
