PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
saw flop|saw showdown
MP1 ($30.30)
MP2 ($10)
CO ($14.60)
givememyleg ($24.45)
SB ($25.65)
BB ($26.95)
UTG ($48.05)
UTG+1 ($9.15)
Preflop: givememyleg is Button with A , K . MP2 posts a blind of $0.25.
3 folds, MP2 (poster) raises to $0.5, CO calls $0.50, givememyleg calls $0.50, 2 folds.
Flop: ($1.85) K , T , Q (3 players)
MP2 bets $0.75, CO calls $0.75, givememyleg raises to $2.5, MP2 calls $1.75, CO calls $1.75.
Turn: ($9.35) 2 (3 players)
MP2 checks, CO checks, givememyleg bets $5, MP2 calls $5, CO folds.
River: ($19.35) 2 (2 players)
MP2 checks, givememyleg bets $2, MP2 calls $2 (All-In).
Final Pot: $23.35
MP2's first hand at the table. Bought in for a whopping $10. This usually indicates someone playing above their roll or a mega fish, correct? Well, I thought about reraising preflop, but just called with my AK and position. I felt I had to raise the flop, I had a decent hand with TPTK, gssd and bdfd, but once I am called by both villians, should I slow down? Does anyone call the flop? Since their are 3 broadway cards out there, should I have checked turn and see what the river brought me? I didn't know what to put MP2 on, but thought CO was on either a sd or fd. Was turn out of line?

UTG ($22)
MP1 ($41.95)
MP2 ($38.50)
CO ($14.50)

River: ($12) 9 (3 players)

Final Pot: $18
Other than not raising preflop, anything else out of line here? The river bet was screaming "I beat TPTK" and almost folded.. is calling here bad? $3 to win $15, and at this level I would think I would have villian beat at least 1 out of 5 times. He could make this play with QK.

With no reads on villian, except the fact that he bought in with only $10, do you fold here or gambol? This whole table was loose as a goose.

hand 1 - pretty standard to reraise preflop against a donkraise here.
MP2 could have JJ or QJ/TJ/KJ so he's chasing - put him allin on the turn
hand 2 - usually not since he probably does not have a Q or a flush...you could reraise to pot and give up after that
I will sometimes make this type of weak-tight laydown in a nearly nothing pot though and wait for a better spot
since I have very little fold equity
hand 3 - that's just F'd up...I don't see anything wrong here other than the non-preflop raise, but you probably
would have just been building the pot in that case anyway
hand 4 - looks good - I might go 2.50 on the flop, 6 on the turn - river check is acceptable since you're probably
not getting called for much unless you're beat - you could put out another 5 for value
hand 5 - raise to $1.25 - $1.50 preflop, especially on a loose table - then bet closer to pot on the flop and
gamble with the shortstack - as played, fold is fine - I will sometimes limp TT UTG, though I'm starting to
abandon these weak-tight ways a bit

1. re-raise pre-flop please.
2. fine. sometimes i may call and see what they do on the turn.
3. raise pre-flop please. rest is fine.
4. river check is fine. i'd probably be tempted to value bet. i like to check flop/turn sometimes because my draws are to the nuts and will be a likely help to someone else's hand.
5. fine. if he's terrible you'll find a better spot to take his money i think.

1. Reraise PF
2. R 4xbb+1bb(limper) pf. Call flop bet, reevaluate on turn; non diamond, non paint or another weak bet, reraise 3x
3. Raise pf
4. Raise more pf
5. depends, calling is not bad.
I think most of you're tough decision postflop comes from weak/tight preflop play.

1) pf: as has been said, reraise, if they made a standard bet I dont think a call would be horrible, I could be wrong with that though
f: raise more, a pot sized raise is about $4 and with this action that is how much id raise
t: i think id bet $7 to put mp2 all in
2)pf: the raise is fine; however, Id raise to 5xBB
f: i dont like this, this board is most likely just as scarey to you as it is to the SB. if he lead out strong with a PSB id fold because he is most likely protecting a made hand [one better than ours], but for a weak lead like this i think more often than not they are scared and Id raise to $4-5
3)pf: you really need to raise here
f: fine
t: id probably raise $4-5
r: fine
What hurt you hear was not raising preflop because you have no idea what to put your opponent on, all this action in an unraised pot isnt really a good sign for TPTK
4)pf: id make it 5xBB
f: this is fine, maybe bet closer to the pot
t: fine
r: I would definitely value bet here
5)pf: fine
f: you are either way ahead or way behind here, there is a good chance it is the later, but without a read on villain id fold here.
Your stack is over the maximum, did villain just join the table? You must have some idea of how he plays.

The reason I bet $5 on the turn is I am telling him, "hey you're going allin" and I wanted to make the other villian pay for his draw incorrectly if he wanted to. Does $5 really differ that much than a $7 bet?
