Meh, I think I raise the turn to avoid getting over-calls. Although being out of position sucks. Yeah make it 6 and check the river.

why not bet tha particular flop $1.50 minimum? What are the chances someone is holding a 7 (unless it is 77)? I would have tried to take the pot down there so no straight draw gets free cards.

possibility of too many wanting to call becasue they think you're bluffing it or simply think Ace high or whateva trash they'vre min raised is good.
Im split between how VQC played it and how fnord says to play it. Id go for VQC's way 60% the time i think.

Without a read he gets called too much and builds a pot without a clue where he's at until showdown with little chance of improvement.
That being said, I'll fire at an unraised flop like that sometimes to build an image of raising and bluffing too much. But in that case I'm pretty much treating it like a bluff and even a call is going to slow me down a lot.
