 Villain is crazy and hitting flops - stacked an AA that had limped when he hit two pair with 74o and another big hand his top pair hit trips on the river to beat an overpair. Has shown the ability to fold to strong turn and river play, and shuts down when someone plays back - unless has the nuts. The table isn't coping. Running 90-80-20.

Pre-flop i normally raise here, but here i was certain it was going to be raised and maybe 3-bet by someone anyway - so I limped.

Flop I'm ahead, but if i raise it's likely to stop the hand and I know that villain will lead turn. Turn is the best possible card for me - thought about calling, but it's too deep not to at least start building a pot - probably should have raised more.

As played, how much do you think villain is calling on the river - and do you think it's possible to induce villain to shove?

Pre-flop is pefect.

Looking at this hand my first reaction is that you would have been in better shape raising the turn to $20. It's pretty clear he has something like a pocket pair, maybe an Ace.

I would bet at least $30 on the river, but might even pot it, I probably would have more of a feel for the answer here if I was in your spot. If he shoves back, vommit and call.

 I'm getting in as many chips as I can after the turn is a 6. So, I'm getting stacked if villain has a 2.

Is shoving bad here? I ask b/c that's what I'd probably do (I know it's like 2x pot), since most people won't fold a boat, which it kinda looks like he might have (with maybe a pp < TT, and more likely 77/88 imo). Idk, I'm just a noob still, probably way off...

 interesting thoughts, remember his range is huge - limped BB and his flop aggression frequency is 94%.

 I agree with Fnord that preflop is good and that I'd probably raise more on the turn. Villain led for about 80% or so of the pot on the flop and turn, so with the description you gave, the majority of his range is stuff that you beat that will call a big raise on the turn and a big bet on the river. If he has a 2, you're getting it all in either way, but if he has something like QQ then you're going to need to help him along with proper bet-sizing.

Yep, or a weak king, and this guy was even worse than i had hoped... check this out, i wonder if he would have called a shove?

edit, in the hand history it shows that villain mucked Ks5s, not sure why this didn't show up in the converted hand history
