pokerfitta26: Allin $28.69
*note... had seen pokerfitta make a big overbet twice before out of about 10-15 hands but had not shown down anything yet.
Is there any way I can call here?... my outs are obviously 4 9's 4A's and 9 hearts assuming nobody has any of these cards. 17/46 = 37% chance of hitting
I am not good at calculating pot odds and do not know how to yet but I know this pot is huge. I have $16.60 behind and the pot is $27.80 (this is not including the overlay of pokerfitta26's stack)

a couple of comments (people who know, please check my reasoning on 4 below!).
1) you have fifteen outs 9s, aces and hearts - but 9h and Ah are both, so count A/9 = six outs, hearts = nine outs.
2) I normally try and raise if I'm first to enter the pot, rather than limp.
3) I suggest re-raising the flop (probably all-in). Either you get a fold and probably take down the pot, or you get a call and you have fifteen outs, twice. Both are good.
4) I'm also a little iffy on pot odds, but you are putting in $16 to return close to 48 (make it easy!). So if you win this more than one in three times you are ahead. You're about 30% to win the pot, means it's about 50-50 as to whether you should call or fold.

you have tons of equity on the flop with a combo draw like this. shove there, or play passive the rest of the way (passive not recommended).
your equity drops in half once the turn card hits. you are likely a favorite on the flop, but likely a dog on the turn.
thats why you will see everyone say shove the flop.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!
