Villian is moderately loose and really aggressive over a measly 30 hands. His river shove was unhesitant.

do you always call this preflop? i don't think you can call the river, and i don't like a "defensive" bet cuz you will have then put at least like 70bb's in the middle without wanting to get the rest in.
Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

Everything is fine here, assuming you folded river, except for PF.

I don't call this that often preflop, yet I think it's not a bad call. I'm getting like 50:1 and villian was looking to me to be one of the fishier spots on the table.

It's actually probably a good call preflop.

He showed J6ss after I folded. I possibly would have called had I been paying more attention due his 'click tell' that he would likely play a value bet slower. But I don't really think it's a call either.

No.

Block bets are not nearly as valuable as that one book suggests, and I hadn't seen any showdowns with this villian and had no clue what to think of his lagginess.

If you call, 1/10 He will show a stupid bluff. The other 9/10 you'll feel stupid when he wins with the 2d.

HINT: 2d is on the board...

Sucks that this was a bluff this time, but I would venture to agree that this is a fold most of the time on that board. He'll bluff again...
Hey knucklehead! Bonk!
