still not sure what stakes i should be playing...
villain seems to be a standard LAG - 22-14, 3-bets sufficiently (8%), steals too much, apparently NEVER folds to a c-bet.

The flop call screams some sort of 9 or king - so I'm checking the turn behind. I don't think villain is checking a second time with a king, so i figure I'm likely ahead. Bet? or is this too thin? Trying to figure out if any worse hands call/better hands fold...

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP3 ($200.00)
CO ($312.85)
Hero (Button) ($200.00)
SB ($117.80)
BB ($92.40)
UTG ($172.45)
UTG+1 ($327.60)
MP1 ($318.45)
MP2 ($79.10)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J, Q
UTG calls $2.00, 1 fold, MP1 calls $2.00, 3 folds, Hero raises to $8.00, 2 folds, UTG calls $6.00, MP1 calls $6.00

Flop: ($27.00) 10, J, Q (3 players)
UTG checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $16.00, 1 fold, MP1 calls $16.00

Turn: ($59.00) A (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero checks

River: ($59.00) 6 (2 players)
MP1 checks, is this too thin?

I would be inclined to check behind.
I'm worried about the check-raise here, plus I don't think he would call a 1/2 bet with QT or JT.

just check behind, he has aces up here alot and also possibly a king through thats alot less likely. Even if you do bet i doubt worse will call.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

i love to make razor thin vbets but this is a check for sure.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Should we turn our hand into a bluff on the turn or river ever?

zekagrinder - ring any bells?

I think there's a third, and valid, reason to raise here. Normally it's to extract money from worse hands and fold better hands.

What about the value gained from a worse hand folding that relates to image - let him wonder what I had, or misread my play. Do I check the turn behind with the nuts? etc...
